1 qt golden raisins
1 1/2 cups turbinado sugar
1/2 cup dry mustard
1 tsp turmeric
2 qts water
1 cup amontillado sherry
- combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan
- bring to a boil and simmer ten minutes, whisking to dissolve dry ingredients
- chill overnight
